Yields 1 – 3.5-pound loaf
2 cups lukewarm water
4 tablespoons butter, melted
4 tablespoons sugar
2 teaspoons salt
4 tablespoons instant nonfat dry milk
4 teaspoons vital wheat gluten
5 1/2 cups unbleached bread flour
3 teaspoons instant yeast.
Add all the ingredients to the bread machine in the order listed. Make a small well with your finger tip and place the yeast in the well.
Close the bread machine lid.
Program the bread machine for the basic loaf, 3.5 lb. size, choose your crust color then press start.
