Air Fried Fish Filets
2-6-ounce Cod filets
1 cup buttermilk
1 tablespoon hot sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1 cup all-purpose flour
½ cup of corn meal
Parchment paper to cover air fryer basket
Oil for spritzing
Place the buttermilk and hot sauce in a large bowl and soak the cod filets for 1 hour.
In another bowl combine the flour, corn meal and salt and pepper.
Remove the fish from the buttermilk and press into the flour mixture, covering well, then shaking off extra
Place the filets in the air fryer on a sheet of parchment paper.
Spray well with oil.
Set timer for 7 minutes, and temperature for 400 degrees.
When cook time is complete, turn the filets, spritz again and cook for 7 minutes longer.
