Description

Ingredients

Nonstick oil spray
1-pound bulk sausage, cooked and drained
10 large eggs,
¼ cup milk
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon nutmeg
15 frozen hash brown patties, thawed
1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
1 ½ cups mozzarella cheese
9” fry pan
2-3-quart saucepan

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, salt, pepper and nutmeg.

Spray fry pan with nonstick and preheat fry pan over medium heat for 2-3 minutes.

Add beaten eggs, let sit for a minute.

Using a rubber spatula scramble eggs just until on the runny side.

In a saucepan, assemble stack starting with ½ cup cheddar.

Cover cheese with 5 hash browns, cut slightly to fit.

Top with ½ of scrambled eggs, ½ cooked sausage and sprinkle with ½ cup mozzarella.

Repeat with ½ cup cheddar, 5 hash brown patties, remaining eggs, remaining sausage, 1/2 cup mozzarella.

Top with hash browns, and sprinkle with remaining cheddar and mozzarella.

Place saucepan into preheated oven, and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Remove saucepan from oven and let rest for 5-10 minutes.

Invert pan onto platter and serve.
